Ok, I am dying to try this idea. Basically you combine oats and water in a pot, bring them to a boil, then cover and turn off the heat for 3 min. Separate into individual jars and leave overnight. Then every morning you just warm them up and go.
Oh, also, obviously, another use for mason jars!
